Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the PlayerConnect Chrome extension or visiting playercon.cc (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and GNatro ("we," "us," or "our"), an independent developer operating PlayerConnect.

2. Description of Service

PlayerConnect is a Chrome extension (Manifest V3) that enables synchronized video playback across supported streaming platforms. The Service includes:

• Synchronized playback — real-time sync of play, pause, and seek actions across participants.
• Voice & video chat — peer-to-peer media communication during watch sessions.
• Duo mode — sessions for 2 users, where the host must have an active Premium subscription or free trial.
• Group mode — sessions for up to 10 users, where all participants must have an active Premium subscription.

3. User Accounts & Authentication

PlayerConnect uses Google Sign-In for authentication. By signing in, you authorize us to access your basic Google profile information (name, email, and profile picture) solely for account identification.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. We are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from compromised third-party credentials.

You may only maintain one PlayerConnect account. Creating multiple accounts to abuse trial periods or circumvent restrictions is prohibited.

4. Free Trial

New users are eligible for a one-time free trial lasting 3 days, which provides full access to all Premium features. The trial begins upon activation and cannot be paused, extended, or restarted.

No payment information is required to start the free trial. After the trial expires, continued access to Premium features requires an active subscription.

Premium subscriptions are available at the following rates:

Payment Methods

We accept payments via Solana (SOL) cryptocurrency and Bank of Georgia (credit/debit card payments including Google Pay and Apple Pay). Bank of Georgia processes all card-based transactions.

Billing & Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. For card payments, you may manage your subscription by contacting support. For Solana payments, renewal is handled manually.

Refunds

Refund requests for card payments are handled by Bank of Georgia in accordance with their refund policy. Solana cryptocurrency payments are non-refundable due to the nature of blockchain transactions, except where required by applicable law.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extension or any related infrastructure.
• Attempt to circumvent subscription requirements, trial limitations, or session capacity limits.
• Share, redistribute, or resell access to the Service or your account credentials.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service.
• Transmit harmful, abusive, or illegal content through voice or video chat.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's servers, networks, or infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the PlayerConnect extension, website, branding, and underlying technology are owned by GNatro. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other brand assets.

PlayerConnect does not host, store, or distribute any third-party video content. The Service operates solely as a synchronization and communication layer over content you already have legitimate access to.

8. Privacy

Your privacy matters. PlayerConnect uses a relay-first architecture (TURN servers) for signaling and falls back to peer-to-peer connections for voice and video media. We do not serve ads and we do not sell your data.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GNatro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Service.
• Service interruptions, delays, or errors.
• Unauthorized access to your account or data.
• Any third-party conduct or content on the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and uninstall the extension at any time. To cancel a Premium subscription, contact support (for card payments) or simply do not renew (for Solana payments).

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, with or without cause, including for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including liability limitations and intellectual property rights) will remain in effect.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and may notify you through the extension or by email.

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you disagree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
